Have a little fun and get a workout in with your Easter activities. Incorporate one or all of these ideas into your Easter this year.
1. EGG PICK-
Take small pieces of paper and write exercises on them (i.e. squats, crunches, burpees, lunges, etc..)
Place the small pieces of paper in plastic eggs (1 per egg)
Have people form a circle and place a pile of the exercise easter eggs in the middle.
Yell go, and have the people pick one egg... They have to do what they pick for 1 minute. When the minute is up, yell go again… continue until the Easter eggs are gone. (so you obviously want to have a decent amount of eggs and different exercises)
2. TREASURE MAP EASTER BASKET HUNT-
Create a treasure map for participants that will have clues that lead them to the next clue/checkpoint.
Include eggs at these checkpoints that have exercises in them (squats, lunges, etc..) that the participants will have to do (don’t forget to put how many!) Or say “crabwalk to the next clue. checkpoint”
3. EASTER EGG SHUTTLE RUN-
In a gym or yard, create lines of easter eggs 10 yards, 20 yards, 30 yards, and so on.. (place treats in the easter eggs)
Have participants race to the first line, pick up and egg and back, then the next line and back...and so on.. The winner wins a big prize/easter basket
