Location: Resort Valley West Pine CO

Cost: $ 400

COLORADO CAMP

4 Days, 3 Nights

*High Elevation-1 mile base required

Host Location/Accommodations:

An outdoor camping experience in the rugged Conifer CO forest. We provide tents, cots, sleeping bags, and basic meals (oatmeal bar/coffee/tea/sandwiches/soups type)  Your own water and cooler (if applicable) will be required (extra water out here can ALWAYS be helpful for multiple reasons!). There is a NO FIRE policy --> but we will have an approved propane fire ring. You are welcome to bring your own food/snacks, however, there will not be a method to cook them if needed. 

 

Capacity Limit: 8 People- COED!

Details:

Spend 4 days and 3 nights camping under the stars in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. Learn everything you need to improve your running, health and fitness. Unlike previous years, we won't be going out for many runs or riking mountains, we will keep the cardio to light running  (less than 1-2 miles )on a 2 track road. 

1 bathroom, 1 kitchen tent, 1 fitness tent, single tents are available or walk-in 4 person tent.

*All Gluten/Dairy/Soy Free

Daily Breakfast: Power Oats/Coffee

Daily Lunch: PB&J 

Daily Dinners: Soups/Crackers with optional meat on the side.

The AZ camp is hosted at Arizona's only AAA Four-Diamond all-suite resort, the luxurious Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, and the beautiful South Mountain Park & Preserve in Tempe, Arizona.

Nestled in a private southwestern desert oasis, the resort offers a one-of-a-kind setting at the base of naturally beautiful South Mountain Preserve that offers 50+ miles of desert mountain trails where we do all of our group runs and workouts.

*Must be able to run a high elevation 5k distance

Host Location/Accommodations:

RR Headquarters aka "our home" at 8,500 ft elevation in Conifer, CO. Campers share a bedroom with bunk beds and a full bathroom on the spacious lower level of our home complete with a kitchenette for campers, gym, and mountain views. Email Michele to make your epic weekend with friends happen!

 

Capacity Limit: 4 People

Gotta Group? Create your epic camp weekend together! Enjoy a tour of the awesome trails in the Rocky Mountains around the RR Headquarters.  Learn everything you need to improve your running efficiency. Trail run/hikes ranging from 5-15 miles covering altitudes between 8,000-12,000 feet. Injury prevention, nutrition and more!

4:00 pm: Meet n' Greet  
5:00 pm: Easy "get to know one another" ShakeOut Run/Hike.

6:30 pm-8:30 pm: Brief Individual Meetings with Michele (goals, experience, etc.) 
*Campfire Fun and Bed Time

Day 2: Friday

6:15 am: Power Oats/Coffee
7:00 am: Warm Up, Speed Drills, Dynamic Lead Ups

8:00 am: Video shots of gaits for gait analysis
8:30 am: Break (Breakfast/Snacks that you bring)
9:00 am: Nutrition Clinic
10:30 am: Trail Run
1:00 pm: Lunch (PB&J's) and anything else you bring

*Free Time
3:30 pm: Strength & Mobility Exercises for Common Injuries 
6:30 pm: Dinner (soups like Lentil, Veggie, etc) 
*Campfire Fun and Bed Time

6:15 am: Power Oats/Coffee
7:00 am: Warm Up Speed Drills, Dynamic Lead ups, Uphill/Downhill Technique and Form and Power Drills 
9:00 am: Break (Breakfast/Oats/Coffee/Whatever you bring)

10:15 am: Group Hike/ Gunnison-Tilton
2:00 pm: Lunch (pb&j) and whatever you bring
2:30 pm: Individual follow up meetings with Michele

7:00 pm: Dinner (soups) 

*Questions and Answers with Michele around the campfire 
 

Day 4: Sunday

6:15 am: Power Oats and Coffee
7:00 am: Trail Run (1-3 hours depending on your schedule)

11:00 am: End of Camp
